Refund Policy

Refund requests can only be processed if online form below is completed. 

I. ALL REFUNDS will be evaluated by the JCYSL Regional Board. We must consider our fixed costs that are based on providing for the whole year, not just one season. Such as background checks, field paint, coach training, coach equipment, referee training, referee uniforms, player uniforms, and extra equipment costs.

• Refunds are only issued if your child DID NOT participate in either a practice or a game for the paid year/season.
• Refunds are not provided from game cancellations due to weather. (We do our best to reschedule games cancelled due to weather)
• Injuries are a part of all sports at any level and are not generally considered as a reason for a refund.
• Refunds are not provided due to COVID restrictions that may require a shortened season or altered, safety regulations to be put in place, and/or change restrictions at any time due to rules of AYSO National Office, the Jefferson County Health Department, the State of West Virginia, and/or the CDC
  
  

II. TRANSFER  If you transfer out of the area, your AYSO player fee portion entitles you to transfer your membership to another AYSO region. To find another region, visit www.ayso.org/region_locator.aspx   In this case, JCYSL will not issue a refund, but will request on your behalf a transfer.

III. UNIFORM  Your player fee includes a uniform.  If we receive this application after uniforms are ordered, then your refund will be prorated based on the uniform cost.

IV. OTHER FEES We are not able to refund the National AYSO Player Fee and any Transaction Fees.

JCYSL reserves the right to change this policy at any time and to deny or approve a refund for any reason. We strive for consistency and fairness and will evaluate every request objectively. However, there may be circumstances that JCYSL did not foresee when forming this refund policy that may require us to deny or approve a particular refund request or to change the refund policy.
