Fellow Referees:
The fall 2010 gamebook is open. Please try to volunteer for 1 or 2 games each Saturday. You are more than welcome to volunteer for more, but please remember to not burn yourself out. We have 8 weeks to cover and the Region needs every one of you for the entire 8 weeks.
JCYSL is offering cell phone text alerts for field status and news. Please submit your phone number and cell phone carrier in the form below. If wish to sign-up for both field status and news alerts, you will have to submit the form once for each type of alert.
JCYSL wants a fresh start for alert subscriptions. Therefore, all previous subscriptions have been wiped from the database.
Please submit once for each type of alerts. Administrators will send test messages on the first of each month.

Coach Notes 9-1

A few notes as you start the season -
- It's tough to decide what to cover in first practices. Stick to skills and the basics of the laws. Save set plays and the offside rule for later! Remember - the more touches on the ball the better.
2010 is the ninth anniversary of the tragedy of 9/11. For many AYSO Regions around the nation Saturday, Sept. 11 will also be the opening day of their 2010 fall season. AYSO Region 322 (JCYSL) is using that concurrence with his Region’s opening day to honor all those that were affected nine years ago.
Kids can use red, white and blue hair bows, hair gel or arm bands. Referees, coaches and parents can give support by wearing red, white and blue. Red, white and blue can surround every AYSO field!
In remembrance of the 9/11 tragedy, games will be stopped at 10:30 AM for a moment of silence. The moment of silence will be triggered by a blast from an air horn. Games will resume with two blasts from the air horn.
